This bridle knife is built with a steel blade and a trigger-release locking leather awl that makes quick work of punching holes in leather, untying knots, or handling repairs on the fly. No more digging around for a screwdriver to use as an awl—this one’s made for the job. The yellow handle gives you solid grip and makes it easy to spot. The blood knots you see on the knife are braided using this rig. It’s the kind of knife you toss in the door of the pickup or let it float around in a cantle bag until you need it. They're obviously not a high dollar knife but I have been really impressed with the edge they hold.
